I understand, but we are baptizing, and it is the faith of the one being baptized which is paramount. They first must believe, repent, calling on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ as they go down in Jesus name. We as ministers are praying with them, and invoking the name of Christ with them. Yet, if I believe and they don't, or could care less, then my faith in Jesus name cannot help them one bit.
