Religion doesn't matter when it comes to salvation, and if that is what you have gotten from Scripture then let me suggest that if you seek it you will find it, which sounds trite but surely you would agree that you are predisposed to
not see this in your reading; it is you that must dispose yourself here. Read a version you have never read, maybe, even a weird one, that seems to help. Break the spell.
i mean, i could give you like 100 Scriptures that will tell you that your religion will not save you (just ask a Jew
), which is what i've been trying to do; but coming from me just won't be as good as some other route at this point, i guess.
Anyone else believe religion = salvation? You can surely get better perspectives than mine anyway.
