Well if one only feels the Spirit when music is present something is wrong. We had a problem with our last Apostolic Church where if you did not get up and shout or run or walk around the Church during one of their shouting songs "you must not have the Holy Ghost".
Now to me the songs were "ok" but nothing to make me get up shouting everywhere. But in this intensely prejudiced mindset if you dont rejoice as they do you dont really have the Spirit.
If Paul Washer had been there he would be using it as sermon fodder attacking Pentecostals to this day.
So Oneness Pentecostals like Baptist and Luthern Hymns. Old time country gospel. Choir type singing. Those are "acceptable" genres of music.
