I think I should clarify this by saying that question is not necessarily what I referred to.
But as per your question... some questions are intended to cast doubt in the reader's mind on the bible. That's the intention. For example, the question "Does God have a Father," is intended to make a person question the logic behind the bible's statements that indicate Jesus is God. It's based on lack of understanding the concept of incarnation that proposes deity is manifest at certain times in Christ while humanity is at others. And without that basic simple understanding, which anyone who poses such a question with the intent to cast doubt lacks, one thinks, "Ahhhh... If Jesus is God then God has a Father, because Jesus prayed to the Father. But if the Father is God, then how can God have a Father? It would be like saying Jesus is His own Father!" That's the obvious intended answer such a question is attempting to lead one to conclude. Hence, it's intended to make one think the bible is illogical and not to be believed. If part of it is illogical, then all of it cannot be trusted.
That question I gave as an example is the sort of question the author is using as if to mock the accusation that he indeed is trying to cast doubt upon the bible. It's disengenuous of him to use a question of what color the sky is in light of those previous questions that show this obvious intention.
