It's just going in circles of confusion now. Like you said, this needs a break.

Re: Are all Catholics lost?

Whom do you ask for forgiveness?

Now here is an example.

WHAT?! In what context are you asking this?

Shazeep, your communication is lacking.

yes, or, you just ignored the Q in situ for whatever reason, or never saw it and so now have no clue where to look, or whatever. I provided no context because none is needed, imo; when you sin, whom do you ask for forgiveness?

i have no idea, and beyond forgiving them it is not for me to judge.
Now you are contradicting yourself.

You said formerly:
Quote:
However, a poll of Catholics asking if "All other Christians are lost" would likely reveal a roughly 50/50 split among them also, the point being that there is no doubt at least one Catholic who does not hold that view, hence all Catholics may not be lost.
To say at least one catholic might not be lost after having said a poll would reveal that some catholics do not believe "all non-catholics are lost," is to imply you think those who believe "all catholics are lost" are lost themselves.

So, you just backpeddled badly right here.

I ask forgiveness of the Father in the name of Jesus Christ, indicating my reliance on the work of the cross for my opportunity for forgiveness. And If I sinned against a person for which I am asking God forgiveness, I also ask the person for my forgiveness.

well, you left out the part of the quote that admits that that would not be the standard God might use to condemn them, Mike.

I did not always know what you meant. But I soon realized somethiing was off and then you finally explained what you meant. Also, word carry baggage and readers will get the wrong idea.
