So, you don't know, you are double minded concerning this subject, and you assume greatly? You base your arguments on your own emotions and feelings? You also get upset when no one accepts your views as even being viable concerning the Bible? Interesting.

Do you believe in the flat earth theory?

No, many do not seem to enjoy others being lost. That's a failed accusation. That is like a father not wanting a man to use the women's bathroom while his daughter is using it. The ones wanting men to use the woman's bathroom accuse the father of hating all transvestites? He may or may not, but you can't use a false accusation to prove your point.

i would say that you have mixed two concepts here, and it is up to you to know why you are personally standing firm, which has nothing to do with not knowing the state of a stranger's heart.
Dude, if others don't know, and you say you don't know, then how is anyone standing firm? The state of a stranger's heart? How about the state of your own heart? How about if you are wrong? Because after all no one can be led to truth by reading the Bible, and by reading the Bible you can be led out of truth? So it's like a ping pong effect? Because after all these people don't know, and God is throwing people into hell who are clueless, or welcoming them into this tight entrance which was hard to navigate also hard to find, because they are ignorant of the way?

If that all sounds confusing it is because it is confusing. False doctrine is stupid, and it is question begging, and never has an end. People leave religions because of a plethora of reasons, and sadly agendas. But dude, trying to make up a teaching so everyone will think your the cool Christian is a waste of time. Because God doesn't care about you being liked by anyone other than Him. Do things that He wants and you will be ok. Start adding to His words and He will erase your name out of His book.

Re: Are all Catholics lost?

nonetheless, we are debating two verses of Scripture, are we not?
seek your first love--if you can even still identify it--and let your doctrine flow from that imo.

Re: Are all Catholics lost?

It's interesting how everyone gets their own love to seek, for their own distinct religion to develop, and the Word becomes arbitrary and truth is no longer absolute.

Try using that in a court room on a murder case!

Amen.

Paul writes to Titus about a "...common faith..."; and Jude touches
upon a "...common salvation...". That, of course, means embracing
the gospel that saves. It is when a person begins to deviate from
the very gospel that that person also begins to withdraw from his
first love. Then there are those who NEVER truly have embraced the
gospel, and therefore remain ever confused, and find themselves in
the cross hairs of the Apostle Paul's words: "Professing themselves
to be wise, they became fools . . ."

Being ignorant of righteousness, they will NEVER be able to:
"Judge righteous judgment."

Re: Are all Catholics lost?

beware those insisting they have "righteous judgement" who will not address you think you can judge, BUT YOU CANNOT

Are our 'first loves' different, or are they the same? What is the definition of religion? How is fulfills the law and prophets made arbitrary? If truth is absolute, why did Paul eschew the corporate body and ignore their doctrine?

What is being tried here is "They are all lost, and to be considered found they must obey me," regardless of how you might like to put it.
