reminds me of a story I heard once.

This happened years ago when women wore looong dresses, petticoats, and pantaloons.
One hefty sister whilst ascending the steps to the choir loft, lost her balance and fell backward.
She landed on her back on the platform with her legs straight up in the air and her dress and petty coats over her head.
