That is the case, usually, at camp meeting. (I must have not been there that night

Lol...I'm sorry, but I live in Oregon. The average church size in my area is probably between 50-75...100-150 maybe for the larger ones. I don't even think our District Family Camp attendance reaches 800!

Smaller churches means everybody assimilates into the Borg. If you look like me, you are either a 1.) visitor, 2.) new convert, or 3.) backslider. There is no inbetween.

I know what you mean though...you do look much different now than you did a few years ago. Honestly, I'm not sure how you'd be recieved, but if anyone has a shred of brains they will all welcome you with love and not criticism.

Interestingly enough, there's a young lady my husband and I have been working with at church. I asked someone about her, because we've not been here very long and am unsure about so much. Anyway, the lady told me that this young lady we are working with has been in and out of church so much...she sounded frustrated with her. I just told her not to worry that one of these days things will turn around and that she'll make it! One thing I've learned is that we must LOVE people! Regardless of what they have or haven't done, regardless of who they are or who they may not be. Jesus is concerned with each and every one of us. We must have compassion if we are going to be able to reach people and help lead them to Jesus.
Amen, preach it, sista!!!

Or, you go to one of those few 'liberal' churches.

So, when will you be there?
Hahaha! In that case I'll let you work up a good sweat before I break out with a triumphant 'Shadda Maakkaaww!!!' and then maybe a 'helicopter' or two for good measure.

Hey do you know Sister Estrada? She is my friend. They live in Oregan now.
She tells me that groceries are awesomely cheaper there. The price of milk
was about half of what I pay.

I guess I am used to larger churches. In Louisiana there are alot of smaller churches but then there are the larger ones like Baton Rouge and Alexandria
and Shreveport etc.I guess there are alot of larger ones too.Florida is on
the rise in attendance as well.Texas has some wonderful large churches.
I loved the Kilgores work. There were also other large congregations when
we lived there.I don't know what the attendance runs now.Brother Strange
would know.I am just used to going to church and minding my own business
and praising the Lord and trying to be a blessing.Truthfully it may bother you
more than them.
