Every time your overpriced and piece of junk automobile breaks down after 60,000 miles, thank a union (personal experience 2xs). Every time an American city is on the verge of bankruptcy, thank a union. Every time your child gets a subpar education, thank a union. Every time you drive through Detroit, Youngstown, Flint, or any other Rust Belt city and see the decay, thank a union. Every time a government employee retires after 20 years drawing a full pension on the taxpayer teet, and then gets rehired working for another government job double dipping into the taxpayer coffers, thank a union.
Unions were great 100 years ago. Even 60 years ago. But they ruined American industry and manufacturing in the 1960s-80s. That's the reason why there are fewer unions and union membership than ever before. They have to force people to join them against their will with mandatory Union memberships. Their days are numbered if they don't ruin America's economy first.
