You posted that your 16 year old son has to have the last word. You also think we are in a discussion where one of us needs to be silenced? Like I suggested you can easily place me on ignore. But at that suggestion you quipped that you would miss the entertainment. So, what it all boils down to is that you want your son to take what you tell him and just stay quite. While I understand this with a 16 year old under your roof, you aren't dealing with that here. If you don't like refutations from others (other than your family) then you need to not speak with them, make comments about them, or just place them on ignore.
