While I believe the Bible contains all that man needs regarding salvation, I do not see any reason why science can't help us understand various biblical subjects.
Archeology is a science. And it has shed much light on the Bible.
So, Bro. Blume, since you don't seek to reconcile any science with Scripture... what is your take on epigenetics?
