Dear Diary,
I’m tired of the rhetoric in Pentecost.
I’ve addressed these issues before, and even discussed it with leadership and congregants.
I’m weary of hearing pastors and lay-ministers preach over the pulpit, “God, send us to someone that we may share the gospel with them.”
Oh diary, God once told me to ask them, “what’s wrong with sharing the gospel with their neighbors, family members, and people they pass in the groceries store?”
I asked the brethren and they stayed quiet. They would like to believe they’re performing the will of God with their excessive programs, Christian concerts, fellowships, etc.
But the fact remains they’re stagnant and remain in what they feel is comfortable, under the pretense that their doing God’s will, failing to realize they’re far from it!
Above all else, the objective of God’s will for our life is to win souls before all else. If we’re not winning souls in our walk, we’re deviating from God’s will.
I’m a firearms fanatic and own multiple firearms, and it was easy for me to spark up a conversation with strangers about firearms. Yet, one day God asked me, “how is it so easy for you to speak with strangers about firearms, yet so difficult to share the gospel?” I was deeply convicted and never have been the same since.
Diary, I don’t want to be like all these Pentecostals. I want God to continuing molding me.
Love,
Brainwashed
