I believe the definition of money, as used in the Bible (my version is KJV) is important but not necessarily crucial to the debate on tithes.
EB?
!ofthechosen?
Would you be so kind as to define money as used in the Bible, according to your understanding?

David and Goliath was written in the 6th century B.C. look at
1 Samuel 17:4-5 "And there went out a champion out of the camp of the Philistines, named Goliath, of Gath, whose height was six cubits and a span. [5] And he had an helmet of brass upon his head, and he was armed with a coat of mail; and the weight of the
coat was five thousand shekels of brass."
So I think this shows it couldn't be money, but it was a weight system for precious metals, and things of that nature. A barter system a going rate in weight.
