What of the married women who are badly abused who can't leave their husbands because they have no way of making a living because women working is outlawed, who have no voice because they are not allowed to speak in public?
In the Victorian era, women who had no relative to support them resorted to prostitution to make a living. Not saying that was a good idea, just saying women need ways to make an honest living.
