There is another case used that is talked about in the video. It was called the Slaughterhouse something or another...cant remember exactly but it was involving the "citizenship" of a native american man and the argument made was that the united states could not sue the man because he was a citizen of a Native American and thus under the tribes authority and allegiance. So since he could not be sued he was not under the judicial jurisdiction of the US and thus was NOT a citizen.
