IMO this thread is already showing the great need for videos like the one Dom posted. Believers think life will always just go on as it is at least a great number of them. That America will always be prosperous and free with a constitution to protect them.

Many are taken with fear at just talking about such things. It does not seem real that here in the good ol USA we could be getting persecuted for our faith. Not to mention if and when God begins casting his wrathful judgements against our nation.

No they have been rocked to sleep by pre trib and preterist teachings that the terrible and glorious events of the Revelation written by John is totally irrelevant to them. The pre tribs because they think Jesus would not allow them to suffer for his name.

The prets because they say all this happened to the Jews ONLY in 70ad!

So when the end times arrive and all their confidence is shaken because they will be facing life in the slaughterhouse of Mystery Babylon or possible beheading among the 10 nations the beast rules....many....will fall away.

So yes bring on more sound end time doctrine and yes embrace the whole armor of God that you may be able to stand in the evil day.

Does that mean you cannot go forth and serve God now? God forbid! The Church is to be a foretaste of the Heavenly kingdom. Demonstrate the love and the power of God. Go after the lost!

Yet understand that its no strange thing if firey trials come. Take the stand in your heart you will be prepared to die (literally) for the Lord Jesus Christ. Teach your wife and kids and whoever else will listen to make that commitment.
