The government will always strive for more power and it is up to us to tell it when it has over-reached.
It is plain that it has over-reached in this case and you now see Texas and Florida exempting religious gatherings from their edicts.
So, I believe Tony Spell and other pastors have effected a change.
My question for you (since you would willingly give up your guns) is where would you draw the line at government interference?
Would you fight if they took your children to raise away from your bigoted religious viewpoint (at least that has been governments reasoning in other countries).
Where would you draw the line?

Tony Spell will have to live with his decision. Was it right? I don't think it was, to me its nothing but a pride issue.
The Bible says...
Philippians 2:7-8
But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: [8] And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
As far as your theory of the government taking my kids away. If that time comes, I will trust in God. Do I trust in the government, No! With that said, I’m not some zealot thats going to fight against them. The people gave the government this power, and governments will always have power.
We are told to be...
Matthew 10:16
Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.
Jesus tells us he’s sending us in the midst of wolves, and were sheep! Why would Jesus tell us to be wise as serpents and HARMLESS as doves? Do we fight with force? Does a sheep fight against a wolf? Will the sheep win? I don‘t think so! If your of the thinking that if the government tried to take my guns, “it’ll be over my dead body”. Thats not being wise, and thats not being harmless, instead of asking about situations we may never face, how about you and I become more like Jesus. He made himself of no reputation, and lived a life as a servant and was obedient.
You’ll stand for a country, you speak of your family that has shed blood, sweat, and tears. How about you take your eyes off this physical place that means nothing. Use the same determination that you have for this country and convert that for the spiritual kingdom, how about you ask God to open your eyes to see what you have never seen. Apostolics/Pentecostals need to get their eyes off this earth and get their eyes on the kingdom of God. This world is not our home....
