This word came by the Spirit in the prophets. The word cannot be separated from the Spirit into another 'person' or another form. God cannot be disassociated from his word.
The verse in Zech backs this up : the words which the LORD of hosts hath sent in his spirit by the former prophets:..

The doctrine that YAH had no form before his humanity in Yeshua is a glaring weakness in Oneness theology. If God can be God and man similtaneously in the New Testament he can be God and Angel at the same time in the Tanakh.
Very strictly speaking I would say the Son prexisted as the
WORD/EXPRESSION. Not so strictly speaking I can quote Paul calling him the
SON who created all things.
Since last I knew Baxter was UPC they must allow for this.
