Trouvere, I'm sorry to hear that. I'm thinking that today must have been a hard day for you. Let me give you a great big

Thanks Sis. we had Brother Robert Linder to preach today.Since Daniel mentioned New York it reminded me.He preached from the topic,"I Want to Be A Good Man." My dad sure was.My husband sure is.I can see from the pics Daniel posted that he was blessed that his dad followed Jesus.

I'm so sorry for your loss ... T ... I'm sure it must've been difficult today.

I know Robert, his twin brother Harold, his mom and his uncle Victor ... who was best friends w/ Dad.

Poor Robert, has Puerto Rican blood and can't speak a lick of Spanish.

I hope he's doing well. I was w/ his uncle last May in South Carolina when his church ... [or his brother's church] burned down ...

Thanks, Dan, for some glimpses into the life of a person who was not just a man of God but also your father.

Happy Father's Day to you.

Dan, that was wonderful. I only wish I had a father I could pay tribute to.

The guy responsible for giving me life isn't a father and never has been....even to this day. And while I'm fine with that after all these years, I'm envious of people who have great relationships with their father.

Thanks again.

You see ... it's kind of like a double-edge sword, HO...

I can't even imagine the pain you've felt over his behaviors ... but at the same time .... it hurts also to lose someone who meant everything.

I am thankful for the gift that Dad was ....!!!!

Dan,
I miss my Dad as well. He has been gone since 1978 when I was 13 almost 14.

I just saw that ESPN will be doing a 1978 Tribute mini series to the Yankee's in July.

It just reminded me that 1978 was my first year tracking the Cincinnat Reds with my Dad not being there..

I attend the Milwaukee Brewers Fantasy Camp in Phoenix now each year and in Tribute I wear the number "77".

Which marks the last year we went to a MLB game together at Riverfront Statium in Cincinnati.

Everytime I hear the crack of the bat or hear the snap of the glove.

I think of my Dad.

It reminds of talking stats and hearing about such legends as Babe Ruth and Ted WIlliams.

He was a great person in my life...

I also added his UPC ministerial cards from 1976 and 1978.

The 1978 card remained unsigned because of his passing in March 1978.

General Conference 1978 would be in Kansas City Oct 4th-10th and he was included in the memorial of lost ministers.

The 1976 was signed and it is a treasure.

General Conference was in Anaheim, CA on Sept 22-28th it would be the last he attended.

I decided to add my fantasy camp photo.

Go Brewers!
