I've tried "Chai" at my daughter's insistence. She's really into that and "bubble teas" as well.
I love the "spicy" part of Chai but not crazy about the sweetness. Not sure what it is exactly ..... if they use condensed milk or what. I don't mind that in iced coffee but in hot tea ....... just didn't care for it.

Ahhhhhhhha
MEMORIES _
I had heard many stories about coffee etc
ad on my first Revival in Louisianna
I thought that I would try not to offend -
After The Very First Service
The Pastor's Wife asked
just what I would like to drink -
I stated "A Glass Of Tea Would Be Fine"
To Which
The Pastor Stated
"We Preach Against Tea Round Here "

I do like it just black though....not a big fan of all the stuff in a plain ole cup of coffee....
but I do love double espresso with just a hint of steamed milk

I generally drink it black; but will drink it any ol' way. Same with my husband - he'll even get in his car in the a.m. & drink what is left from the previous day... so I guess there are three of us.

I have been having some stomach problems when I drink coffee lately and I love the stuff. Anyone know if there is a coffee that is easier on the stomach?

I just weaned off of coffee, after three days of terrible withdrawal, I am caffeine free. Anything that can effect my body that negatively I can live without. I had started having irritated bladder, and that has cleared up, so I feel much better. I tried decaf this morning, one cup only, but it is not the same, so I may just forget it.
I now sleep better, and am much more alert and full of energy to run our business.
Since it is now 1:23 AM, I am off to get some of that sleep....O yeah! Good night.

I purposefully began a coffee habit a year and a half ago... I have no other addictions. It keeps me from craving snacks in the mornings. I do believe it is a drug (no better/worse than nicotine) but I believe in self-medication. The whole reason coffee has come to be popular over the centuries is because of its properties as a stimulant.
Every morning, I have 2 shots of Italian Roast espresso, with half a cup of steamed/foamed skim milk and a shot of sugar-free caramel flavoring...
I don't seem to have any negative effects with this amount of coffee, only positive ones. It motivates me to not snack and also to ride my bike 10 miles every morning.

lol, nah, if that were the case I would weigh 180 instead of 220... I am maintaining but not losing because we have been eating out too much lately!

On my last trip to India, I really fell in love with chai tea. I have stopped drinking coffee alltogether and now my drug/drink of choice is chai! I have tried many different brands and types and I like Oregon, Tazo and Celestial Seasonings the best, so far.
