I'm overcome with emotion and thought the best place to post this is in the girly thread.
My daughter is starting to talk about getting married. I expect she'll probably be engaged in the next few months.
She told me today that she already knows who will be her maid of honor because she's her best friend and has been her whole life..........me.
I was so taken back, that I couldn't even talk for that big ole lump in my throat.
What a honor and compliment I think. Not sure how that'd work being I'd be the mother of the bride and bridesmaid too, but by george, we'll work it out!
Just had to share one of those special moments!
