Yet I'm done chasing red herrings ... a practice that is all to common w/ you ..... the primary point being drilled in this thread is that some are teaching the practice of tithing yet will not apply the same principles for its management ... because they want it all.

Dan, the primary point is who has God chosen to receive tithes. Whether or not the minister or ministers are deserving of 8 million is not our call. We all hope they will be good stewards, not greedy of filthy lucre, and spend the money wisely. Just as we are, right?
How the ministry spends those tithes is between them and God and is secondary. If they are like MOW and fully disclose then great if not and you think they are hirelings, find a new preacher. We cannot prejudge the minsistry and play God with how we distribute the money we give to God in the form of tithes.
