I'm sorry, but I don't really have the time to argue concepts from the silence of Scripture. We can agree that Jesus and Paul received offerings and support from their followers, and, if you want to contend from silence that Jesus never asked for an offering, you're welcome to. I'd just as soon argue that Jesus never took a bath because there isn't any Scripture for it. Zip. It is not in Scripture.
