I'm still not totally sold on the idea that IAM is a mod though.
IIIIIIIIIII am a mod, and IAM makes me look like Corinthian Keith.
Most folks consider themselves mods unless they pride themselves on the extremity of their positions, either con or lib.
All of us think we define the middle, generally speaking.
IAM is what I would call a conservative leaning moderate.
I would call you a moderate leaning lib, or perhaps a liberal leaning moderate.

The statement is not a salvational statement, but a doctrinal statement, and meant to be taken in its weakest, watered down forum. I strived to place the bare minimum into it that we wanted to be identified with. Our basis for fellowship here is simply that all of us agree that Acts 2:38 is in the bible, and is correct. That is about all it means. This is why I found it so hard to believe that some would balk on it.
Now about meeting for lunch sometime in the future............
I understand what you're saying, but highlighting Acts 2:28 as the only scriptural reference seems to infer the three-stepper position. Those of the PCI position put equal emphasis on other scriptures such as John 3:16.
I'm just trying to see if a statement can be written that can satisfy MOW and others as to the forums direction and agenda. Folks like MOW and others take things like this seriously.
