you could be right. I truly think that Internet snuck up on the UPC, or they would have tried to cut it off too. Or at least regulated it more.
I personally do not think tv advertising is going to be effective. If we ain't already reaching our community, and the services being noised abroad in the community, then we have deeper issues that need to be addressed. Any church that displays the nature, power, and Love of Jesus Christ will be known in the community already, and will not need to advertise on tv.
And as someone above stated, most denominations do not use tv simply to advertise their services. They use it for broadcasting the service itself.
