I have a feeling that in your paradigm "a stand" means that to attend your church no one can have or watch a tv (once they have been going a little while).
In many other peoples paradigm "a stand" is preaching against the content on TV and / or requiring platform people, choir members, SS teachers, etc to not have them but not making having one a matter of fellowshiop in general.

If everyone(with the exception a very few) has a television then how can a preacher pretend he is opposed to television. In our area the trustees-deacons-muscians-singers-SS personel-janitors have them. Everyone but the pastor. It is a joke! I mentioned once about a certain church being filled with television and got a post about this person's elderly mother not having one.
A church of a thousand and maybe a dozen senior saints that don't have one?
That is NOT a stand.
