Let's just OkieVille is a word normally reserved for these areas...

I drove through OK and stayed outside of Tulsa for a week one time years ago. I think it was Haskell. I stayed at a preachers house, but can't think of his name. Gary something. I was on a missions trip to an indian village with a friend. This Gary P. believed all kind of strange doctrines. After sitting with him, I found out he didn't even believe in heaven or hell.

But you stated this man is no longer in missions anyway, but is evangelizing. So it really does not matter how the missions department is set up. He would have been transfered to a district other than the Missions department if he has left the missions field.

You are wrong. The truth is my friend is licensed from UPCI Burma, not UPCI in the states. You may not agree, but this is how it is, from what he tells me. I take his word for it cause his father is the GS of UPCI Burma and you are not in the UPCI. I am saying that to be or seems mean. I am just stating from what he told me. Now he could be lying, but look at the Australia tv thing and they are their own thing too not listed under the UPCI in the states.

We are both on the same page though. If it is a national license, then they are accountable to those governing bylaws. If it is a US UPC license, then they are accountable to the governing bylaws here.

You are right here.....he is evangelising in the us, not a licensed evangelist under the states UPC stance. That was my fault in description.

I realize that many people disagree with this conclusion, but it is the way I percieve it. Therefore, once the UPCI changes its stand on television, I will no longer maintain my license with them.
Surely everyone understands the principle of gradualism. If a minister does not have SOME line, then the UPCI could (theoretically, of course) change its fundamental doctrine and it would not affect that minister. There HAS to be (at least in my mind) some "line of demarcation." For me, television is that line.
