Not the "two oldest most reliable manuscripts" lie again. Believer, these manuscripts are spurious, to say the least! When the footnotes speak of certain passages not being in the earliest manuscripts, they are referring to the Codex Sinaiticus and the Codex Vaticanus. If one would research the origins of these codices, one would learn that the Vaticanus was found on a shelf in the Vatican library without any knowledge as to where it came from or how it got there. The Sinaiticus was found in a trash bin in a Catholic monastery on Mount Sinai and was used to start fires there!
Two oldest? Sure! But who said older was more accurate? The Catholic church is older than any denomination around today. Does that mean it is better?
there are two strains of MSS that came to us today. The Catholic Alexandrian starin and the Received text strain. The TWO OLDEST are Catholic.
