Dan,
Exactly...there is a sense of URGENCY in those who see time, not in years, but in the sands of an hourglass...
I really believe your Dad had an urgency about him even before he began to fail physically...I know that I cherished our conversations together because his motives and drives were so pure...so far separated from the normally anticipated discussions of ministerial politics or personalities...
I've never really know anyone who was so kind...that 4-letter word that holds the essence of a man...urgent even to the last...what a testimony.
LET'S GET WITH IT...!

The sad fact is there are some that want to run and win the world without first having the relationship right. Souls are born because we are in continual relationship with Jesus our Groom.

Winning souls does not necessarily indicate maturity it's more a result of passion. Many an immature young person finds them self with child in the physical as well as in the Church. Look at how often new converts win the lost as compared to the mature saint.

True, and a marriage is not mature the day the 2 say "I Do". Maturity is a process of learning and experience. It is an adding to your faith.....
Maturity also does not happen without the ministry imparting into ones life. But it is attainable in this life. It does not mean one is mistake free. It simply means that when one makes a mistake and they become aware of it, they immediately "make it right".

Agreed
What do you think of my new book title "It takes a Church to raise a child" ?

Sounds about right. I wonder how the married couple would feel if their child, at age 32, still was in the same state he was in when he was 5? This seems to be the state of some churches, wouldn't you agree. I do understand whoever, that we all have a choice in our maturing, and some just prefer the pacifier over the steak dinner.

In pre-politically correct days they would have been called mentally retarded.
