If some leave the UPCI ,they could apply for AMF credentials.
If I was a UC ,I would consider them myself.

I very seriously doubt this rumor. Most cons I know in the UPC if they get out they are not looking for another organization.

Appartenly not even some ministers.

What is the difference in ministers walking out of an organization because it is not going the way they want and a saint walking out for the same reason?

An associate pastor in a conservative district has confirmed that some of the writers of the booklet are considering this option ... The possible GS is a moderate ... which makes this whole thing very odd ... although he is a political hack.

This is absolute nonsense. I personally know a number of the men involved in "the booklet," and I can tell you unequivocally that they have no such plans. Your "associate pastor" friend needs to check his resources.

What Elder Epley has said is the truth. Most men who leave the UPC over standards won't be forming -- or joining -- another organization. There have already been a number of them leave, and they are simply remaining independent. That will be what happens -- if anything at all.

You know what would just be a genius idea??????

If our "organization" rather than getting together and making a bunch of rules we all had to follow was just a way for us to connect in order to, say, evangelize to the lost and do other things like that...

Then we could be lik ethe original church... James with his Jerusalem church that followed the law and preached that you MUST follow the law, and Paul and his Antioch-based Gentile church that preached that you don't have to (and if anything shouldn't) follow the law... They were POLAR OPPOSITES yet they were still one church....

and we can't even allow some people to advertise on tv and some not to and stay together....

Maybe its about time we realize that we aren't following God at all, because stuff like this really makes it look like we aren't...

I know a small group that will form their own organization if things don't go according to their vision. No big deal. *shrugs*
