With one hand held over my face to keep from catching whatever, I am praying for y'all!!

May the 'bug' flee to yon lower regions, and strength and vitality return. Abi, I pray your stomach settles and the aches leave, and Felicitous, I'm praying the sore throat and sniffles cease!! In Jesus Name!!

There...y'all should feel better any second...!!

LOL....that was my first thought too, but a woman knows that feeling!

And it only comes with the headache if you weren't expecting it!

I've been suffering from allergies for the last two weeks or so, and taking Benadryl and Chlor-trimeton on a fairly regular basis...and I'm just wondering...can you get sick or have "withdrawal" when you stop taking antihistamines? Has anyone else ever experienced something like that? Just curious...

Or maybe its just the flu. *shrug* (But...I didn't take any medicine last night or this morning, so that's why I thought that maybe....)

Check and see if you have a rash anywhere on your body. The above symptoms combined with a rash are symptoms of west nile virus.

Antihistamines are my friends....

Its not that kind of sick. Anyway, I can always recognize morning sickness...brushing my teeth(tongue) makes me throw up...LOL!

In response to your first question- yes there can be a "withdrawal" like symptom with antihistamines- but you have to be taking them steadily for several weeks. Antihistamines are also used for sleeping pills and that's where people usually end up taking them in excess.

Best treatment for your symptoms is to go outside and roll in the snow; thump your chest and holler loudly. Then settle in a hot tub for a couple of hours.

You are correct in the first paragraph. People who abuse them can have withdrawals.

So, Abi, what will you name this one?
