well, the constitution comment was an argument against those that have suggested (though not here) that Akmapuke should get to speak in Columbia because of "free speach" or some such.
also, I agree with you that the US Government has no buisness attempting to kill Akmapuke.
additionally the fact remains that akmapuke like bin laden needs a good killin'
more over their really isnt a way to say "he needs a good killin' and still be speaking in perfect christian love. so I am sorry i am a frail human. I look forward to the day when I am as perfected as larry boy.
As far as any understanding of the orriginal question is concerned, it is impossible to make any claim of understanding God's view of the matter. His ways remain above our ways. and lets not forget, the death penalty was carried out by God upon 2 people who simply lied to Peter.
and lastly akmapuke still needs a good killin'
Now boys, lets discuss this thang without taking it to a personal level.
LB does have valid points and so do you Ferd.
I think both human nature and our spirit man would agree that our enemies need to be destroyed. But I think one would try to do it with love the other with a physical weapon.
Yes the bible does indeed say we should pray for our enemies, but does it tell us what to pray? Is pray'n that God changes your enemy to ashes in order? Or should we pray that the enemies soul can be saved and his status changed from enemy to brother?

we might not be able to know God's opinion, but since His ways are higher than our ways, him killing poeple has no bearing on if we should support that ourselves or even do so ourselves... His ways are higher than our ways, thus we can't just go "Well, God killed 'em so we're good to go on the killing front!"...
And we also can know what our view on things is suppose to be. We are told to love our enemies, even those who hate, persecute, and kill us... Just because we have the "power" position in the world right now doesn't change that... (note: it also doesn't mean we shouldn't defend ourselves as a nation, but we need to be careful in how we do that, the attitude you are displaying is not the way that we should be doing it)
and the fact that you can't discuss this without making it personal just shows that I am right in what I say....
I thought i was pretty funny actually. and hey, who says you arent more perfected than me? clearly you are acting like the christian here...
please notice, I also agreed with you that the US shouldnt kill akmawhatshisface.
but honestly you gotta admit, were this guy to have something occur that lead to his no longer being involved in the affairs of nations, we would all be happy.
come on guys im just having a little fun. LB, dude, you would argue with a fence post! which works, because this place is full of people like us!

lol, yeah, a little...
I think the thing is I take some stuff seriously and it seems many here like to crack a lot of jokes on some of those things, and they're kinda going over my head... mix that with a few who very obviously don't like me and my nature to like discussing things from the other side of the issue as someone (my theory is you can never grow if you only get "AMEN!"'s...), and, well, it seems a lot worse than it is lol
and I agree, I wouldn't cry if he died tomorow... I just think, if we're being serious, that we shouldn't as Chrisitans hope for his death, rather we should pray for his soul...
