I believe that it could be true...many called my Pastor back in 2005 and scared him to death thinking someone was out to pull his license for using a liberal woman like myself in his church.
People are busy doing the devil's work in the name of God and righteousness...for this reason many who call HIM Lord...will not enter in...He will say..."Depart from me, I never knew you."
I just have to say...I love Thad but the Bible is very explicit about bringing false witness against others. This is such a public forum that there have been many hurts caused by false accusations made against others. There is nothing to be said for bringing true or false private issues into this forum for entertainment value.
I think it is a sad state of affairs when we worry about good solid advice being given, and then allow gossip to run ramphant. What is wrong with this picture?

This is funny. You are here griping about Thad. What is the difference in Thad doing something for entertainment value and you doing something for entertainment value?
Remember the Dear Rhoni thread? You were doing EXACTLY the thing I have bolded above that you are griping about Thad doing. You were bringing TRUE OR FALSE PRIVATE ISSUES INTO THIS FORUM FOR ENTERTAINMENT VALUE. You admitted in the thread that some of the things you posted were make believe situations so that you could practice your counseling skills.
What's even funnier is that you posted a thread yesterday telling everyone to GET A LIFE, and stated that you were staying away for a while. But here you are. Maybe it isn't everyone else that needs to get a life.

Tell it all. Socali goes to that church and said that HE was even hearing that too. Socali then came on and corrected after the local church rumor mill was set straight. You failed to read his post before you posted it was incorrect. We'd already heard it was incorrect earlier in the day from Socali's post.

if Thad had reported the JL got caught in some compromising situation, THAT would have beeen bearing false witness. come on. that is just petty.

Well ain’t that sumpen. I am at least, not shocked by your consistency.
Regardless. I don’t care who the ninny is. The fact remains, someone put pressure on Thad to stop. Where it came from is of no consequence to me. It came through someone who has the keys to AFF. That is all that really needs to be understood.

Just a point of correction here. I have known James Larson for most of his life and had a long talk with him at GC. There is some basis for thinking he had a stroke. He had a major reaction to two kinds of medication that conflicted with each other which produced some stroke-like symptoms. He did go to the hospital and was subjected to a whole series of tests and the results were a clean bill of health! [ as soon as the affects wore off ]
As to Thad, I have known his family all my life and they are fine people and that has been passed on to Thad. Thad's personality and approach to things is not mine but God's varieties are immeasurable! That being said, this forum belongs to someone else and while we are guests here we must follow the house rules. Everything is going to be alright.
