Yes, according to 2 Cor. 5:17 all things become new. One of the new things is the new name of monitor for what used to be called a television before.

I am making a "coming out of retirement" statement....
Then going back in.
It is true that the Ga district did this....
Having just talked to a District official....here is the scoop.
HQ has advised districts that they think might have a problem to send out a "letter" advising not to. This is for the purpose of appeasing those that are opposed to it all together.
HOWEVER...
The Dist CANNOT usurp the authority of the National level and charges CANNOT be brought against those that choose to minister and or advertise on tv.
The manual will be changed this Dec...it is the book for all levels....national, dist and sectional....
IF it is allowed in the manual...then its allowed....PERIOD!
Also....
NOTICE that the careful wording is chosen to mirror those already in the manual...."we dissaprove"....
THAT is NOT a we forbid....so....
Now you know the rest of the story...

Oh yeah... We sometimes eat "Monitor" Dinners (rather than TV Dinners) when we are in a rush.
