Yes, methods like the rack, the Roman scratch plow and men wearing "tights."
What we need are Arabic numerals, a zero, and movable type. And a passage to the East that circumvents the Muslim lands so as that have spices to make our rotted meats savory again.
But we still will burn our heretics, thank you very much.

Dude after falling in love with Indian food I understand that whole spend a fortune to bring home the spices thingy, puts history in a much clearer perspective.

Know what you mean man. Our staff attended a seminar, implemented some of the ideas and saw several new families come in. Last week I found out the guy is AoG now I'm wondering if all the ones that prayed through are really saved!!!!

Just for the record...I am not against using ideas from other organizations and tweaking things here and there. I guess it all depends on which program you use.

Yes, that may be a non-Oneness method, but it begs the greater question. Where were the Oneness ministers teaching these principals. Where are the Oneness John Maxwells teaching leadership to their people and not, "Oh, our pastor is like that". Not good enough when you are looking at a Oneness movement as a whole! Brother, you attitude is since it's not a Oneness seminar, it's not of God. I guess the Azuza Street revival was not of God until people started getting baptized in Jesus Name?

Oh please, surely you are jesting? What about the testimonies of the saints that started out, " I came in first in a Baptist church or a Methodist church, before I found the truth" To say that the influence the aforementioned churches had on these people is demeaning to say the least. Thank God those instruments were used to awaken these people before Jesus revealed His Goodness to them.

If you know anything about me...you will note that this statement is total tongue in cheek. I am definately not of the mindset that OP has it "all" in terms of leadership principles and outreach ideas. This just comes off of similar comments about other ideas that came about that was put down because it was not OP.

Guess no one knows my humor or has read my defense of outside organizational ideas and leadership principles.
For the record....I have no problem with people going to these events. I have no pribls
with churches taking certain leadership principles and outreach tools, tweaking them and implementing them as they see fit for the needs of their church and community.

Socali,
I knew you were just joking! Now do you feel better?
Also, it is obvious that Anaphylactic81 is new here... did you notice that he not only got in your grill but that he also thought Encephalitis was serious about those new folks salvation...???
I will pray for Anaphylactic81 that he/she is not in shock when they realize the satire that resides in these hallowed pages.
