The principle of VIDEO and TV is sitting in your lap, as it were. Yes the COMPUTER has the same ability to be a TV as it does to allow you to argue with other people on internet forums.
BTW....Best Buy will no longer be selling Analog TVs...They will sell only digital TVs...what is a Digital TV? It's a computer with a flat screen monitor and way of receiving digital content....
Surprise surprise but that is what a Desktop is or a laptop. Soon you won't need cable or an antennae....as it is many computers have the ability to plug a cable in to from your cable provider or satellite and watch stuff on the TV. But now broadcasters are sending out their content over the internet.
If Ultra Cons who have preached against owning a TV do not do the same with computers and internet then I would say that is very inconsistant.
Not only that, those that preached against all video devices like VCRs or a TV to watch them on who OK cell phones, Computers, laptops are being inconsistant too. As noted before. Most newer (last couple years) have DVD players built in. They also have software to play mpegs and other movie medias. You can play them on the CD or on the Hard drive or streaming over the internet.
You have a choice if you want to watch TV on a TV. You have a choice of what to watch. Simply owning a TV does not mean someone is sinning. Having cable does not mean someone is sinning...not anymore than being on the internet and paying fees that go to companies that eventually own and upkeep the means of broadcasting hard core porn and allowing for downloaded content even kiddie porn.
And some would rather pull their bucks out of the UPC because the UPC now allows the ability to broadcast the gospel over it.....
