The beam would guide him into the head of a giant robot. He would then fall down into a cock-pit of the robot. There he controlled the robot, kind of like a trans-former.

I cant recall that one, but there was a cartoon about a drunk cat that would get into all sorts of trouble. I liked the samorai shows. But theres nothing better than Japanese ghost movies, they were weird and the scary.
