I think most here believe in the 3 steps but many believe that 2 of them are optional.
The thing that bothers me about the PCIers is that there are people that sit on their Pews for years that never make a move to be baptized or reveive the holyghost

I would also like to mention neck ties.
I do not believe men should wear "slip not ties" or knots tied like the military.
I believe that the only acceptable tie knot would be that of a traditional windsor knot. As it is the most classy, and dressy looking form of a tie knot. The others are slobbingly sloppy as though one didn't take much time in their appearance, and I believe we should look our very best when going to the House of God. Amen?!

I think that the Spirit of God touches a man and he responds. I don't think that a person always stops to analyze what is happening to him re faith and belief when the Holy Ghost is moving on him and he's responding to the promptings and conviction of that. He wouldn't know enough to even do that.

Repentance "toward God" can certainly happen apart from faith "in Christ," but it is faith "in Christ" that completes a returning to God. I give Cornelius as a very good example of someone who had a humble and contrite heart toward God, but had yet to hear the Gospel of Christ. It wasn't until he was presented with the Gospel of Christ's resurrection that his heart was able to fully return to God. Good to see you, Felicity. Now let me see what Steve had to say.....

I am who I say I am ... and I do most certainly feel that way about tie knots. Now I don't believe it's a sin if you don't wear a windsor knot, however I believe it's a lot more presentable than say a military knot.

Regeneration does not take place until the heart passes from darkness to light, from death to life, from unbelief to belief. It is the quickening power of God.... the spirit of man is born of the Spirit of God at the moment the humble and remorseful heart is revived at its conversion to faith.
Isaiah 57:15 For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones. While repentance requires a faith in God it does not require a faith in Christ. Again, I point to Cornelius as example. The heart humbled before God does not fully "repent" (i.e., return) to God until Jesus Christ is made the heart's object of faith. This conversion of the humbled heart to Christ takes place in repentance.

Again Adino I am trying to understand what you are saying?
Repentance requirs faith in God but NOT in Christ? Help me some here?
Again does regneration take place BEFORE and APART from repentance?

Personally I think that if you're avoiding the color red based upon this principle you may need to look in your heart for idolatry. My blood is "crimson red" too.

Well, again... what's good for you and me may not be necessary for eveyone else. Evangelist Benincasa, is an example of someone I'm told looks good in pink and I'd never question his manhood for it.

We are in agreement here, I believe. Personally I think we should have kept the old standard about "not shaving your face smooth like a woman's." The old timers put a lot of stock in a man looking like a man.

LOL! C'mon Bro! The half Windsor is just as good (the "military style").
Personally I have a problem with the House of Windsor and their promotion of promiscuity and homosexuality. Wearing the full " Windsor Knot" endorses the lifestyle that these loose people lead; and the same with the "Onassis knot" and the really gay "Merovingian knot."
