I am amazed at the deep, heart felt response from so many that cannot and will not go in that direction. This speaks well for the many that still really want to do what's right. As for the UPC, truly, God only knows what this vote has brought upon it. As far as I'm concerned, it is a heartbreaking tragedy of immense proportions. However, I do know that the UPC will always have within its ranks some of the greatest people in the world.

But, yes, there definitely is a meeting, an 'Apostolic Summit' that is going to take place, and where a different direction will be offered. It will convene Thursday night, Jan. 24th and all day & night Friday the 25th. It will be held at the Green Country Convention Center, Tulsa, OK. There will be an announcement sent to every licensed minister in the UPC.

The men at present who are directly involved in this formation are thus far Johnny Godair, Kenny Godair, Floyd Odom, Crawford Coon, Nate Wilson and myself. We are resolved to go all the way and it seems that there is a host of others ready to do the same.

PLEASE believe me when I say that I AM NOT nor will I EVER be interested in another 'AMF' spirit and attitude. It has and has had many very good men in it, some of which are good friends, but too many within its ranks (not all, thank God) increasingly lent themselves to critical bombast until there is now basically nothing left.

God Bless,
You're a Good Man!
Hope to See You There,
LLB
I see a lot of words, but all I hear is . . .

It can get even bigger if people are swayed by some of the misinformation going around. That's why you see them being so cloy in their wording. They know they've got many fish on the line. Play it right and they might get many more to bite.

I've never read that book, but the coodinators remind me of Absalom in drawing the people after themselves with soft words behind the org's (David's) back.

That does not change what was said to Steadfast at GC. Nor does it lessen the fact he heard it was not true from two parties themselves.

Ban me if you will, but the whole "Tulsa Summit" meeting is based upon deception and half truths and lying accusations. That is is how this crowd has operated for years. If you want specifics just check out the horror stories of the broken lives they have left in their wake.
