Let her testify Sunday night and the next thing you know, she is correcting men on the internet.
Bishop1, could you come and preach for me and help bring some much needed balance?

My honest opinion: Great! Whether lanny wolfes daughters or someone elso, if you find a good man/woman who you can be happy with-GO FOR IT- red, yellow, black or white!!! But after reading some of these post on the forum I'm beginning to turn green!
You are fine Thad............I can see that you are NOT racist..........maybe one who likes to share gossip!

I really don't know what your are asking opinions about. That they are dating black men? That they showed up at a birthday party? That one might be engaged or married? Or that someone may know? So, I'll just cover all the bases.
1. I don't have an opinion about the daughters dating black men. If they were dating Germans, or Chinese or Hispanics, this wouldn't even be a question. The very fact that (according to your sources) they are dating BLACK men makes this a somewhat prejudiced thread. I live in the South... in a very racially biased region of the country, but that doesn't make me racist. If they are happy... if the couples are committed to one another.... thats all that really matters. Skin tone has nothing to do with that. And its really none of our business and thats my honest opinion on that.
2. Showing up at a birthday party warrants no opinion whatsoever. Maybe if they weren't invited... or "crashed" the party... but, really... showing up at the party? Who attended the party... or was invited...who wasn't, really isn't topic we should be concerning ourselves with. So, I have no opinion on who attended the party.
3. Again, who the daughters are engaged to, and may have married, is a family matter, wouldn't ya think? Like I said, if they were dating, say, Orientals, would this even be being discussed? Why is it that they may be dating, or engaged to, or are married to BLACK MEN even a topic? The answer: a little latent racial bias, I suspect. And thats my honest opinion on that.
4. Yes, it is my opinion someone knows. The families involved knows and, no doubt, friends and accquaintances know. And I guess if they wanted us to know, and thought it was our business, they'd tell us. Until they do...I guess I'll just keep my opinions in the matter to myself, if I had an opinion.
However, you asked for our opinion so here it is: How would the Lanny Wolf family, who has contributed so much for the work of the Lord, feel if they read this thread? Would they be edified and encouraged? Would they be made stronger in their Christian walk? Would they be blessed by, not only the words, but also, the contents of this thread? Would they appreciate the kindness and love of fellow Christians? My opinion? I really don't have one.

Well, the bolded statement could change the course of this discussion as MANY do not believe LW contributed anything to the work of the Lord.

one accord,
the reason for the post was that many would be interested to know this period. maybe you and some others would not but everyone's interest vary from member to member. there are threads here that don't appeal to me and others that i start that don't appeal to others.
the other reason was to bate people into discusing something that is still somewhat controversial. i know for a fact that behind closed doors many people still frown on it - are they willing to discuss it? for the most part, no i doubt it.
sorry it offended you. it was meant to provoke discussion but not offend

Well, being an expert on "inter-racial" marriages, I thought I would chime in here. Here is what I think about what you all think about my "inter-racial" marriage__________________________________________ _.
Yet, Thaddy does have a point, I hear a lot of, "It doesn't even matter in this day and age" but we will see when "your" daughter brings home a brother or a hermano...this will be the true test if y'all is cools with it!
In our family we have a joke: When does a Mexican become Spanish? When he starts dating your daughter!
BTW, my family could be the United Nations!

Thats okay Thad, and I didn't mean to imply that you were personally racist or that was you intent. I'm not offended at all. Its just that, as I stated, I live in an area were racism is about as prevalent it was when George Wallace was our govenor. This kind of discussion is the norm here in Alabama. It really gets old. I understand, though, that you were just opening the door to discuss what seems to be a controversial subject. And it is a controversy, I guess, in some peoples minds. Maybe it does need to be discusssed. And maybe... just maybe...I should follow my first inclination and just avoid threads that begin with the words "Did ya hear about...".
I don't know Lanny Wolf. I use to hear them on the radio years ago, and while I didn't really appreciate their style, I think they, in some way, contributed to the Apostolic Movement. Its the Lanny Wolf family that I wouldn't want to be offended.
