The damage is done - the young ministers are gone - and I doubt they're coming back if the affirmation dies.
On the bright side - the future of the UPC is not anywhere near as bleak as the new conservative organization's prospects. A handful of senior citizens starting a new denomination is as promising as planting watermelon seeds in the Sahara Desert.

IMO, there is not anyone in the UPC that believes, adheres to and teaches every single thing in the Articles of Faith..
