I agree, but why? Isn't it just as true that Jesus COULD come in the next 5 minutes or next 5 days? Might be something in this just for old Phil! I will be doing a survey of myself over the next few days... if I have that much time.

You know, to be honest.... I get caught up in just going from day to day. Living life, not thinking about His return. That is a fault, but one I am admitting! But you've got me thinking.........Whether Christ's return is pre, mid or post trib.......... I've gotta live everyday like it were my last. I don't know when my time here is finished! I will tell you this....if I spent as much time praying and seeking God for direction each day, as I do on this computer, I would be doing pretty good! LOL

I wrote a poem at 15 or 16 (32 or 33 years ago) that said:

To you I would say
Live each day as though your last
For ere you know it
It's long since past

For events of years
and months and days ago
Are described
So and then So

And events of years
And months and days to be
Are summed up
what could be

But today is here
It's in your hands
Its your decision
how each day stands

So live each day
As though your last
For ere you know it
It's long since past!

I think I would do well to heed the words of that simple poem from so long ago.

Don't think about it, just give me your knee jerk reaction...
1. Repent.
2. Call everyone I know and ask them to do the same.

having not read any of the posts, (would take toooo long) my response:

PRAY! Repent, PRAY some more
OH and call my sons if they're not around me at the time, and tell them to do the same., 5 min. is not really very long at all., that is about all I'd have time for.
OH .. maybe set my dogs free so that they could fend for themselves., birds too, in fact all pets would be loosed.

You would really be in trouble if there was an "abraham" praying, "Lord, if there are just 50 more I can reach, will you wait a little longer!" and God grants his prayer! LOL
