At least he has been here to tell it. others have just checked out.

I personally would like to see them come back. I hope you agree with that.

I do appreciate you and i agree that every side of our history needs to be visible. I have ALWAYS said that the UPCI needs both the PAJC and the PCI view. (And this board does too.)

No need to ponder just follow Jesus' example later in the chapter!

Ferd, I think that our recently banned Dan is one of the guilty parties using the terms that you deem disparaging and that you are projecting his use of those words on others who are not presently banned.

It's impossible I tell ya. Impossible!!! Gracious! How difficult does it have to be?

From what you wrote (and I haven't read the latest in this thread) I take it you are saying the Holy Ghost has to be inside of a person to work in any way upon that person's heart.

Can't the Holy Spirit work on the outside of a person before they are saved? He did with me.

OK! Enough!
Time for a sappy hippy song and a group hug:

To the Tune of "Where have all the Flowers Gone" Pete Seeger 1960-whatever

Where have all the 3-steppers gone?
Long time passing
Where have all the 3-steppers gone?
Long time ago
Where have all the 3-steppers gone?
They have 3-stepped every one
When will they ever learn?
When will they ever learn?

Where have all the ultra-cons gone?
Long time passing
Where have all the ultra-cons gone?
Long time ago
Where have all the ultra-cons gone?
They're in Tulsa every one
When will they ever learn?
When will they ever learn?

Where have all the liberals gone?
Long time passing
Where have all the liberals gone?
Long time ago
Where have all the liberals gone?
Watching TV every one
When will they ever learn?
When will they ever learn?

OK, that 's it. Carry on.

There were no ifs, ands or buts about it. All 3 steps were necessary. However, there were some differences among the men who pastored me as to WHY the baptism of the Spirit was essential. And these differences exist today in the Oneness Apostolic movement. If you think otherwise I'm here to tell you different.

Hehe.
Felicity, I would like to know what the difference is between being baptized in the Spirit with the evidence of tongues if, as most PCI's claim, one receives the Spirit upon faith and repentance? What did your pastors tell you?

Maybe I'm incorrect on this, but I have heard that borned of water is a Hebrew or Jewish eupherism for being made clean.
