You can always find someone who will give negative feedback, but I always know that my Mom is going to be a positive influence. Not that she can't give good critical advice when that is needed as well, but she is a very positive influence in my life. I hope and pray that I can be like her for my daughter.

Mom is that way.

She is very encouraging.

At church, "WOW" ! They always want her to testify, and there is never a discouraging word.
She is one fiery lady

At one time we lived about 700 miles from home.

My mom, dad, and sis would travel every holiday to be with us.

One year for my birthday, my dad had my sis to drive him down just to bring me a gift, (self propelled lawn mower).
He knew I had been working in the yard (since my husband was working so many hours) and he wanted me to have a mower that would be easier to use.
They arrived on a Sat. afternoon, and took me out to eat for my birthday, then had to leave early the next morning, since my sis had to be at work the following day.
Mom was unable to make that trip since it was going to be rushed.
She would come down when they had longer to stay, so she could rest in between traveling.

Thanks for sharing about your mom.
I pray often for long, healthy years.
My children are young, and they are so close to my parents.

We are all so glad to be back home !
I never mind talking about my parents. I owe them so much. They give and give and give, and never want us kids to do anything for them. The greatest example of Christ that I know. I pray that you will soon see the salvation of your Dad. Don't lose heart, we just had an elderly woman get baptized, who for years and come to church with her husband but for some reason she had never made a move for salvation. Her husband has been serving God for many years--over fifty. They just celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary. And, after all these years, she decided she needed to be baptized. God is faithful!
