In this day and time I'm sure there are many that could use something.

Now tell the truth Elder! I'm sure you have had people that was sinning and wouldn't repent, and when you sat them down they thought you were being just terrible. Just plain old abuse!

Preach against anything and those doing it will feel abused.
Some folks have abuse mentality they just wait to get abused.
Then there are those abuse sites that abuse TRUTH and RIGHTEOUSNESS and the APOSTOLIC CHURCH. They have more in common with Hillary than an Apostolic preacher.

While in the UPC, I had a good pastor and I trusted him in everything. He did make a comment when I first starting attending the church. We had a watch night service and I hadn't yet spoke in tongues but prayer earnestly for it day and night and I was the only guy in the whole church out of 40 people or so that didn't have that gift and he said before a song:
"Now let's really let the Holy Ghost flow through this congregation but if you don't have the Holy Ghost, just reflect it a little bit" and then laughed. At the time I wasn't offended but I think that was a little inappropriate.
I remember though when I got the Holy Ghost he was away at some conference and I called him and said "Pastor you'll never believe what happened" and he was like 'what' and sounded concerned. I said "I was baptized twice! Once with water and once with fire!".
Because I got the Holy Ghost in my car, I think whoever has that car is blessed! lol

How about the ones who are in stealth and are professionals at trying to cause problems within a church family?
When you call their pastor, he tells you to see what YOU can do for them, and then hangs up.

I do not doubt that many times that is the case, but 20 years ago we also had a pastor who buried his church because we couldn't be righteous enough, and he ended up leaving thinking that all problems stemmed from the church not "submitting to him".
(SINCE then, I have heard he is a truly changed man.... and for the better.)

Some, yes some.
But SOME are faced with true spiritual abuse. If one has been in the ministry for any amount of time, no doubt they have seen the effects.
