While in the UPC, I had a good pastor and I trusted him in everything. He did make a comment when I first starting attending the church. We had a watch night service and I hadn't yet spoke in tongues but prayer earnestly for it day and night and I was the only guy in the whole church out of 40 people or so that didn't have that gift and he said before a song:
"Now let's really let the Holy Ghost flow through this congregation but if you don't have the Holy Ghost, just reflect it a little bit" and then laughed. At the time I wasn't offended but I think that was a little inappropriate.
I remember though when I got the Holy Ghost he was away at some conference and I called him and said "Pastor you'll never believe what happened" and he was like 'what' and sounded concerned. I said "I was baptized twice! Once with water and once with fire!".
Because I got the Holy Ghost in my car, I think whoever has that car is blessed! lol
