Jewelry is jewelry to me.....wedding ring or not.... Besides, I 've been taught that is came from cathalosism (i know my spelling is way off)

As for the Varnums, I thougth they were still under the UPC listing... whether they are or aren't , i like their church... On their Touch the Future video, there was a song that sang the words, "you don't know me and you don't know my story" and they were rockin the house! They always knew how to have church....

personally I wouldn't wear one but I know a lot of people who do.
as far as it being catholic, there are a lot of things that we participate
in our society that has pagan Roots including our calendar. each month represents a different god- did you know that ? we would have to live in cave to avoid all of it.

Okay, how do I put this....I am not going to put anyone in hell.... where much is known, much is required... When it comes down to it, I am not anyone's judge... I have to be very careful about that. Is that a cop out from saying someone is lost? no, I don't think so. I would call that common sense.... Not to judge the eternal fate of someone. In fact, I attend a church where the pastor and his wife, and their church wears the wedding ring. we don't make an issue... If it was our church, then it would be taught...I believe everything I live with my whole heart......I'm just a little burnt out with people trying to be God!!! does that make sense?

and yes, I am well aware of the pagan roots that are part of our everyday life....But we don't get by in life by throwing out the calendar. ya know?

There are many things I don't do.....But there is a huge list of the things that I do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!

BTW, I think I will take offense with you by trying to cause a division between queen esther and I!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

I don't see how wearing a ring that signify's something can be a sin - rings were used for this purpose throughout the Bible. But I do think that if I wear a ring, necklace, earrings, etc.... just because it is pretty and and I like the way it makes me look and feel then it is a sin - because the Bible talks about adorning yourself in gold, silver and costly array. And I like pretty and nice clothes just like most ladies but I think you can cross a line there also if it is too flashy or covered in shiney sparklie things. MODERATION!!!!!!

Thad, what do you think about it? you asked us....I don't have problem with answering....you said you personally wouldn't wear one, you think it is wrong? just wanting to know how you feel about it too!
