Pay close attention to verse 29 which you quoted. "eateth and drinketh damnation to himself" is far different than the Lord whipping someone with sickness. Furthermore, pay attention to the word "when" in verse 32.
It would be an interesting theology to see how Jesus, fulfilling the prophesies of Isaiah (53:4-5), came took our sickness so that we don't have them and then uses them to whip His children. Not only would that be contrary to MANY scriptures, but also to the character of God.
