Just out of the blue? I mean, people just walk up to you and ask that question??
So tell me this.....how many people came to your church based on recognizing the way you dress (which I'm still unclear as to how it differs from most other men dressed in business attire)?
In addition, I'd like to know how many people have also asked you if you were a lawyer or doctor, based on your appearance.
I have never been asked if I were a doctor or lawyer. I was always in street clothes.
One time I was at the grocery store a 100 miles from where i live (I was at the lake fising) the lady at the checkout stand said to me "You are Pentecostal aren't you?"
Another time I was in a restaurant when ask. Another time in the mall. Another time I was working construction and a man ask me if I were Pentecostal.
Believe it or not I really don't care it is the truth.

No, I believe you.
I was asking because I've been out and about to various places and asked if I was a Christian. I wasn't in a dress either, nor do I have uncut hair.
Interesting, huh?
Perhaps they asked you that question NOT because of what you were wearing physically, but because they saw the Jesus you were wearing.
I think that's what people saw on me. I hope so anyway.

Nope. OK, that last one has a possible hint of truth. If you are sick, and you pray, you will often get better, whether God did it miraculously or not. But as a blanket statement, it is clearly not true. Oh, and the first one. Yes, if you stop working for God (or not), you will die, eventually (again, whether God did the deed or not is anyone's guess.)
Of course not! Why should it be? OK, if the Bible says it's an abomination to God, the Bible is wrong. The Bible corrected itself (so to speak) on some things, such as mixing fabric types in clothing (or did it?), eating shellfish (I suppose), eating meat offered to idols, animal sacrifice, etc. I think it forgot to correct this one. Either that or left it up to us to fix it ourselves. Times change. There may have been good reason for some laws, in some eras, and if the reasons go away, so should the laws.
IMO.
Okay, I thought you were kidding the first time. Are you serious?!?
Is homosexuality a sin? ___No________
Is homosexuality okay, in your opinion? ____Yes______
BTW, I didn't arrive at this conclusion easily. For decades, I believed what I was taught, including that the Bible ("our" Bible) was infallible and inspired, homosexuality was a sin, etc. I succumbed to the "folly of an open mind"! The more I looked, the more I changed my beliefs.
Okay, I didn't arrive at this conclusion until now, but now I know you're serious.
