As an interesting side-note, Spitzer is a Democratic superdelegate who was going to commit to Hillary Clinton at the upcoming convention. Of course, he loses that position by resigning as NY governor.
So this is one superdelegate that wont be there to pledge for Hillary, so it's almost like Obama getting one more delegate on his side.

You have a point and as their lives are in the higher echelon, she might not really care about what he did as long as they lived and rubbed shoulders in high society. There is a price that must be paid.

Well, for all we know she knew about what he was doing and was ok with it. Maybe she didn't want to fulfill her wifely duty in that department and gave him the green light to see prostitutes. It wouldn't be the first time a wife agreed to let her husband go that route. We really don't know all the details. At any rate, this situation certainly has to be very embarassing for both of them.
